Photos are of the kids feeding the goats, street signs, the kids at the kitchen table drawing, and one of the schools (Valin) in which I'll be working (it is a very old building in the center of town and I particularly appreciate the beautiful benches in front).

Happy belated birthday, Eva! (And you know how old that makes me, since we're ten years apart....) I was so excited to read your entries. I can't believe how settled in you all are already. And Miette is speaking French again already, I'm so jealous. Tristan is taking French now at school, but all his teacher seems to care about is grammar and pronouns. I love you comparison of French and American teaching methods, will be curious to hear more.
